Kary LeBlanc
Chief Operating Officer
Kary LeBlanc, the Chief Operating Officer at Alliant Purchasing, leads the organization with over 30 years of impactful experience in healthcare supply chain management. In his current role, Kary spearheads Alliant’s contracting strategy, portfolio development, and e-commerce initiatives. His oversight extends to member connectivity, new member onboarding, marketing, and organizational training and development.
Kary’s journey in healthcare leadership began in 1994 at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, where he rose to Purchasing Manager. In 1999, he transitioned to Terrebonne General Health System in Houma as the Director of Materials Management. During this tenure, Kary’s innovative approaches to e-commerce earned him recognition in industry publications. In 2004, he received the prestigious “Materials Management Department of the Year” award from Healthcare Purchasing News.
Joining Premier, Inc. in 2009, Kary spent 13 impactful years as Senior Region Director, covering Premier members in Louisiana and Mississippi. His achievements include a remarkable increase in contract spend and delivering annual’ hard dollar’ savings exceeding $80 million. In January 2022, Kary brought his wealth of experience to Alliant Purchasing as Chief Implementation Officer.
Kary holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), both earned at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. Proud of his Louisiana roots, Kary resides there and, in his time, indulges in his love for concerts, travel, camping, and quality moments with his wife, two children, and family. Kary’s commitment to innovation, savings implementation, and member success drives Alliant Purchasing’s mission forward.
