Candace Joined Alliant in 2024 bringing rich experiences in the healthcare community. She has over 10 years in healthcare in accounts payable, supply chain, group purchasing, and SaaS/DaaS solutions. She brings insights into products and product categories for items Alliant customers use every day. She loves all things related to medicine and loves creating relatable data analytics and industry insights. A proud graduate of Furman University, Candace earned both a B.A. in Business and a B.A. in Accounting during her studies.
Outside of work, Candace enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, reading (fiction and non-fiction), enjoying movies with her significant other, keeping up with new discoveries, and cheering for her favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Her favorite books are Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, The House of the Seven Gables by Nathaniel Hawthorne, and anything written by authors featured in the pulp magazine “Weird Tales.”
Candace’s other passion is mental health awareness. As a mother of autistic and bipolar children, she understands first-hand the frustrations, joys, and pains of rearing and loving the neurodivergent and those with emotional disorders. Candace is the mother of a victim of suicide and has experienced the pain of that loss in her own life, as well as watching the resulting trauma unfold in the lives of the siblings, children, family, and friends of the victim.
